Kids Nationals - Utah 2022

Kids nationals in Farmington, Utah was a great success for IAWC. We took 7 athletes out to compete and 5 of them placed in both divisions. Our leadoff little man Braxton Irvine double champed in his division to close out very successful year for the little man. Ty Martin put on a good showing in the 12U division finishing 4th in Greco and 2nd in Freestyle. In the 14U division 3 athletes finished Top 2 in both styles. Hayden Schwab and Gavin Landers found themselves in 2nd place in both Freestyle and Greco on the weekend. Dawson Youngblut finished 2nd in Greco and 1st in freestyle. Our other 2 competitors, Hendrix Schwab and Jax Shekleton, did not have the tournament they were hoping for but competed very well none the less.

Overall Utah was a great trip and most of our families were able to make a mini (or prolonged) vacation out of it. Utah is definitely a really cool place to go visit and I am glad we got the chance to compete in such a unique part of the country.
